What was the highlight of Daegu Marriott Hotel
Quaint, confined, clean, pricey hotel with good access
The location has good access due to the fact that it is right in front of the East Daegu Train KTX Terminal, And a huge department store, Multiple points for the Sauna and indoor 20 m pool which was very clean and convenient
but the neighborhood used to be a sleazy part of town with many cheap motels and such, so it was not good to walk by. There are many down to earth restaurants though. Was rennovated from a previous small hotel, so the space was somewhat confined especially the front lobby The fact that the use of the Sauna and indoor pool is not included in the hotel room price !! this must be a first for any hotel in Korea. Even though the room price was very expensive

What was the highlight of Daegu Marriott Hotel
it was very good. The location is perfect coz it is near the train station and bus terminal too.
We liked how comfortable the bed, and the linens were so clean. I liked how the toilet is separated from the shower room. the fridge is an additional comfort for food storage BUT may I suggest to put a microwave oven so we can reheat food in the room. Thank you!
We did not like that there are NO microwave in the room to reheat the food.

What was the highlight of Daegu Marriott Hotel
Exceptional
The location was great to around. There are many restaurants nearby. Parking is for free. Very comfortable to drive around outside Daegu too.
Sauna and swimming pool charges are separate. It was a surprise that it was not included in the hotel fee, which is strange for a 5 star hotel. We got a free excess at the end because I complained but it was also limited to once access per day. I have never seen a 5 star hotel like this although I have travelled internationally a lot.

Overall a very enjoyable stay with excellent room and so many shops, restaurants close by.
Room size and cleanliness top class. Front desk staff excellent - always polite, helpful and quick to respond to all requests.
